Randy Jay was born in Bellflower California.
Randy's passion for entertaining began the day his dad stuck a mic in his hand to talk on the CB radio. Later, taking a semester of drama during his senior year in high school, gave Randy the acting bug. He landed roles on TV shows such as Moonlighting, Dragnet, Falcon Crest, Beauty and the Beast and the Arnold Schwarzenegger film, The Running Man. From 1989 to 1997, Randy found a home on the soap opera General Hospital.
During this time, Randy was also a popular event host of Classic Car Shows and you could hear his unique blending of his personal vinyl collection at "Harvey's Cruise Night" in Downey, Ca.
Today, Randy is married, with a daughter and 2 grandchildren. You can hear Randy every Saturday from 10am-3pm and every Sunday from 2pm-6pm, playing the Greatest Hits of the 60's, 70's & 80's, right here on KDES 98.5!
