on rockabilly music on a mink ranch in the San Fernando
Valley, Jonny's broadcasting career began in the early
1960's. Jonny worked at the first fm station to play Top
40 music in the nation with Art Laboe in Long Beach. Jonny
has worked many different radio formats from Top 40 in
the 60's, to Country, Album Oriented Rock, and 80's Top
40. He has even owned a radio station in Abilene, Texas.
Jonny Bruce "On The Loose" can now be heard
weekends on KDES and he fills in for vacationing jocks
during the week. Jonny is extremely passionate and knowledgeable
about oldies music. In fact, he has yet to be stumped
with any oldies trivia! Jonny enjoys spending leisure
time with his wife Jillayne and enjoys Dodger baseball,
NASCAR racing and Green Bay Packer football. |
