Starting on April 30, 2008 through June 25, 2008 K-DES 104.7 will qualify listeners to win A 4 day 5 night Jamaican Vacation Getaway for Two, to Breezes Runaway Bay All-Inclusive Resort! Throughout each broadcast day (7 days a week) K-DES disc jockeys will announce the title of songs to listen for to qualify. But, it's not the original version of the song you are listening for, it's The Jamaican Version of a The Greatest Hit we usually play! Once the song has begun listeners should start calling 3-2-5-K-D-E-S or 3-6-0-1-0-4-7 the 7th caller will be the qualifier. After we announce our qualifier we will then announce the title of another Jamaican version of a Greatest Hit to listen for to become our next qualify. You may qualify only once per contest run however, all qualifiers are in the game till their name is called or until all Jamaican vacations are given away. Drawing for the winners of the Jamaican vacations will happen every two weeks beginning Thursday May 15th at approximately 7:20 am with Danny Fox. K-DES will pre announce the date of each giveaway. On the day when the winners names are announced that person will have 10 minutes and 47 seconds to call the station at 3-2-5-K-D-E-S or 3-6-0-1-0-4-7. If after the allotted time period the announced winner does not call in to claim their Jamaican vacation, another name will be announced by Bob O'Brien some time during his show, and that person will have 10 minutes and 40 seconds to claim their Jamaican vacation. If Bob gets no call from the announced winner, Russ O'Hara will announce a name during his show, if no winner Victor Cruz will announce a final name for the day during his show. All winners who are announced will have 10 minutes and 47 seconds to call in and claim their Jamaican vacation. There will be one lucky winner every two weeks through the contest run dates.

Once a winner is obtained, we will once again begin qualifying for the next Jamaican Vacation getaway.

Qualifiers must be 18 years of age or older. K-DES 104.7 is not responsible for the inability of the listener to enter through technical, mechanical or other errors associated with entering said contest. If any such problems arise during the process of contest play, K-DES 104.7 will make the sole decision as to the qualifier or final winner.

TO ACCEPT THIS PRIZE A PASSPORT IS REQUIRED.
Federal Travel Laws state it is mandatory that all who are traveling out of the United States must possess a Passport NO EXCEPTIONS.

It is the sole responsibility of each winner and their guest to obtain a passport for this trip.

Winners unable to obtain a passport for any reason and or become unable to accept prize for any other reason will forfeit prize and will not be awarded any substitute prize or cash refund of prize amount.

Trips awarded are a "group package" and all winners will be part of the "group". Trip will depart LAX September 28, 2008 returning October 3, 2008. Vacation prize includes round trip airfare from LAX, round trip transfers from airport to hotel in Jamaica. 4 nights 5 days deluxe accommodations based on double occupancy at Breezes runaway Bay All-Inclusive Resort Jamaica, air and hotel taxes. Not included are resort incidentals and travel insurance. State and local government surcharges, and all taxes (sales, income, airport, value-added and other), gratuities incidental expenses, licenses, registrations, telephone calls, travel insurance premiums, transportation and other costs and expenses relating to contest and use or acceptance of these prizes are the sole responsibility of each winner.

Travel and hotel accommodations will be handled by Sandee (Gothier) through Discover Cruises & Travel in Redlands. Stays and travel must be completed by the date listed above (September 28, 2008 returning October 3, 2008). Extensions of prize package may be granted for a special K-DES rate which is the responsibility of the winner only through Sandee at Discover Cruises and Travel in Redlands, CA Ph: 909-793-1996. Approximate total retail value of prize is $2,500.00 per couple.

The following Official rules must be complied with or prize will be forfeited. Prize notifications which are undeliverable or unclaimed by September 1, 2008 will be forfeited and may be awarded to alternate qualifiers.

All taxes, surcharges gratuities outside the resort are the complete responsibility of the winner. K-DES 104.7 and RR Broadcasting is not responsible for contest winner's inability to travel. All trips are non-transferable.

Only one (1) Jamaican trip winner per household. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law and you must be a legal resident of the United States to be eligible. By participating in this promotion, all participants and prize winners agree that Discover Cruise and Travel, its partnerships, subsidiaries and affiliates and each of such entities respective officers, directors, agents and employees are not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, illness, litigation or damage that may occur from participation in the promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes. In the event that any dispute arises regarding the meaning or interpretation of these official rules, participants agree that the dispute shall be resolved by applying the laws of California and that it shall be resolved by and within the courts of California.
